Sport4Life UK service goes mobile
S4L has launched its mobile sports and exercise centre initiative – a project aiming to provide every deprived community and demographic in Birmingham with the opportunity to access free, fun, and friendly sport and exercise. The initiative will be based around a custom minibus, fully equipped with sports kit and manned by qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches, which can travel throughout Birmingham in a flexible, mobile manner delivering sports and exercise programmes in local parks and community venues. Each minibus will run 4 key activities – diversionary youth sport, school sport, community exercise, and corporate sport – and is now open to bookings from the third sector, the public sector and the private sector.
