Run In Birmingham, Run For Birmingham!
The EDF Energy Birmingham Half-Marathon is Birmingham’s premier running event. This year it is taking place on Sunday 24th October 2010, with a route weaving in and out of some of the second city’s most iconic landmarks, and it promises to be a fantastic event! We are aiming to recruit a team of 25 enthusiastic individuals to run the half-marathon for Sport 4 Life and to raise money for our charitable work. And rest assured, every penny raised will be used to benefit local communities in Birmingham! Each runner will get a free fundraising pack and t-shirt, and support from Sport 4 Life every step of the way. So if you want Run In Birmingham and Run For Birmingham, then get in touch to express your interest by contacting

University Students Fundraise For Sport 4 Life
After an academic year of crazy and wacky fundraising endeavours, students from Birmingham City University have kindly donated £3,000 to Sport 4 Life. The cash was presented to Sport 4 Life by the University’s Raise & Give Society at a Ball celebrating students’ sporting, volunteering and society achievements in 2009 and 2010, and was received by Sport 4 Life Manager James Forrest. James said: “We are exceptionally grateful for this donation, and want to thank all of the students for their hard work in fundraising – the money will be used to advance our charitable activities and will enable us to get more people active and healthy in deprived parts of Birmingham.” |
